Description

Crispy and easy chicken wings at home!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound chicken wings
  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil
  • 2 teaspoons aluminum-free baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon white granulated sugar
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ cup buffalo wing sauce or sauce of choice
  • Celery, carrots, blue cheese and ranch for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top. Spray the rack with non-stick spray (I use avocado oil spray).
  2. Lay the wings on paper towels and pat them completely dry, the drier they are, the crispier they will get.
  3. Mix the seasoning: In a small bowl, combine: 2 teaspoon aluminum-free baking powder, 1 teaspoon kosher salt, ½ teaspoon granulated sugar, ½ teaspoon garlic powder, ½ teaspoon onion powder, and ½ teaspoon paprika.
  4. In a large bowl, toss the wings with 1 tablespoon avocado oil and the seasoning mix until evenly coated.
  5. Arrange the wings on the prepared wire rack, leaving space between each one.
Bake for 20 minutes, flip the wings, then bake for another 15-20 minutes, or until golden-brown and cooked through, 165°F internal temperature.
  6. Remove from the oven, toss the wings in a mixing bowl with ½ cup buffalo sauce, and serve immediately!

Notes

Serve your wings with carrots, celery, blue cheese, and ranch!
