Description
Crispy and easy chicken wings at home!
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound chicken wings
- 1 tablespoon avocado oil
- 2 teaspoons aluminum-free baking powder
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- ½ teaspoon white granulated sugar
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- ½ cup buffalo wing sauce or sauce of choice
- Celery, carrots, blue cheese and ranch for serving (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top. Spray the rack with non-stick spray (I use avocado oil spray).
- Lay the wings on paper towels and pat them completely dry, the drier they are, the crispier they will get.
- Mix the seasoning: In a small bowl, combine: 2 teaspoon aluminum-free baking powder, 1 teaspoon kosher salt, ½ teaspoon granulated sugar, ½ teaspoon garlic powder, ½ teaspoon onion powder, and ½ teaspoon paprika.
- In a large bowl, toss the wings with 1 tablespoon avocado oil and the seasoning mix until evenly coated.
- Arrange the wings on the prepared wire rack, leaving space between each one.
Bake for 20 minutes, flip the wings, then bake for another 15-20 minutes, or until golden-brown and cooked through, 165°F internal temperature. - Remove from the oven, toss the wings in a mixing bowl with ½ cup buffalo sauce, and serve immediately!
Notes
